You can set this for a newsgroup using the group's properties, and if
you want to save a few articles somewhere other than the group's default,
you can pick "Save articles as..." from the popup, instead of "Save
article attachments". From the "Save as" dialog, you can choose where to
save the stuff and what to do with it. (I used this a lot before yEnc
decoding was integrated, for instance, to just save the raw articles
somewhere.)
