[Pan-users] Pan 0.13.3 & 0.14 under RH9 won't!

        I have just installed RH9 on one hard drive -- and somehow 
messed up GRUB, so that till I get it fixed I can't boot to the one with 
RH 8.0, where Pan has been working fine. 

        Under RH9, 0.13.3 (included with the distro) claimed to be 
online -- and did work, briefly; but then it just sat there, claiming no 
connections no tasks, but online -- and doing nothing..

        I tried upgrading to 0.14; it hasn't even had the brief working 
stage. 

        I normally follow this list on gmane, but obviously can't now; 
so I'd appreciate a direct carbon if anyone knows what to do. TIA!
