IIRC Dave Hill sent mail to pan-users yesterday saying that the 1.1.8
has a bug in that it doesn't install the gnet.pc file into
/usr/lib/pkg-config as it should. I'm using two setups -- one with
GNet 1.1.9, one with GNet 2.0.3, and both of those install gnet.pc
right.
