Hi!

Given that many binaries these days come with par files, it is useful to be able to save incomplete binaries: even though the file is damaged, it can often be repaired afterwards.

However, doing this in pan is a bit of a hassle:

1) turn off "show multipart articles as one entry"
2) expand the thread
3) manually decode 01/xx part
4) find the missing part (by the red X)
5) delete that part <- key step
6) repeat from 3 until attachment has been saved
7) turn show multiparts back on.

It would be much nicer if an option were availible from the save dialog to automatically skip missing parts. Perhaps some naming convention could be used to alert the user that the file is broken. (say appending "_partial" or something)

I'd appreciate your thoughts, and if anyone agrees, file this into bugzilla.

Johan
