Hello,
as you can see, I toke 2 hours to implement the internationalization of
quilt, and provide a french po file.
As far as I can tell, it works. I may have forgotten some strings to
translate, but I was carfull not to i18n strings which shouldn't be (ie,
strings parsed by tools).
If you want to provide a de.po for example, that's as easy as copying
quilt.pot to de.po and openning the resulting file in emacs or kbabel. But I
guess you all know that.
The install target from po/Makefile should be enhanced each time you add a
new language, also.
In the future, if you add a message that should be translated, make sure to
use
echo $"message"
instead of
echo "message"
.
If you add some other scripts, please list them in po/Makefile, also. Files
here aren't executed, so it's ok to put .in files, as long as the messages
don't contain @address@hidden (see guidiff for how to overcome this limitation).
And while I was at it, I did bump the version number.
