Are the questions technical, or organizational?

I'm wondering: if there's a consensus that Big Blue Button is robust, effective, and can handle large meetings, is our situation that we essentially have the software we need, and the question is how to organize making it available to people? Who would host BBB in a way that it can be accessed widely? What would the funding model be?

Framasoft and Opendesktop.org seem to be pursuing the project of making Free groupware software available. Their funding model is based on donations, and it seems to work. Alternatively, a business could sell access to the service. For example, 8x8.com sells Jitsi-based communications services and funds Jitsi development.

Thoughts? Do we have the software we need?
