Great! Thanks a lot for the fast check Raul ;-). I hope this fixes the problem
(without introducing new ones!) on Mahdieh's macOS too.
Indeed, its great that the low-level structure of Maneage (and thus, all our
derived projects that use it) is becoming more and more robust :-).
Just as a small addition to my initial post (only for the record, in case
someone else confronts this problem in the future): in the third paragraph,
when I said "we removed the symbolic link ...", I meant the 'cpp' in the build
directory (which was a symbolic link to the host 'cpp').
