Anyone wishing to take a look at what is likely to become SKS 1.1.2 may pull the
nearly finished code from
hg clone https://address@hidden/r/johnclizbe-sks-keyserver/
It runs fine with bdb 4-6, but runs great with bdb 5-2. I suspect we need to put
some sort of tuning doc together.
A sampling of changes may be viewed at
https://code.google.com/r/johnclizbe-sks-keyserver/source/list.
There are quite a few changes to the internal web server code, the most
noticeable is that pages produced by the SKS server now pass XHTML 1.0 Strict
validation at validator.w3c.org. I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to John
Marshall for both his test work as well as his assistance with the inline CSS
which allowed me to upgrade from style to class.
Other web server fixes from Kim-Minh Kaplan and
address@hidden and myself dealing with mobile devices and proxy
support.
Several changes from both Kim-Minh and I correcting spelling and documentation
glitches. I'm sure as I become more familiar with the code I shall find more.
Packbart, Kim-Minh, John Marshall, Thank you. I could not have done this with
out your assistance.
Best regards,
John Clizbe
PS: everything expect the last four changes are live on my production servers,
hrrp://keyserver.gingerbear.net and http://sks.keyservers.net.
One other note: No complaints about errors on index pages. Index pages are the
resposibility of the individual server operators, not the SKS developers.
