I installed the change I mentioned and made some more build
environment tweaks.  Here's the current code:

regxpcom and xpcshell now work for me.  Swarm components instantiate, etc.

However, there seems to be some new bug with JavaScript callouts that
I haven't seen before.  I don't think you'll hit it with Python.
