Rick,

I'd as soon as stick to the single e-mail list, since we did it that
way in the past and it all worked out. I think the papers should go
to the current mailing list because, in answer to your question on
swarmfest2004, it's already archived automatically and it already
private (no need to have to remember to add it to the swiki), and you
can add your admin people to the current list easily (since you are a
list admin).

If organisers on the current address@hidden can't handle the
extra traffic re logistics, then they probably shouldn't be on the
list in the first place... ;-) My only suggestion would be to not have
folks send any credit card details to the address@hidden list
(which they shouldn't be doing anyway). I don't mind getting the
extra mail, I'll just pay attention to paper related stuff.

I would strongly recommend keep the current address@hidden as
the address for papers to be sent and all
academic/papers/schedule-related corespondence to be sent, because
thats what people have expected in the past.

If you want a different list specifically for registration enquires,
perhaps you could simply list a umich.edu address for that (it doesnt'
have to be a swarm.org address for that). In short, I suggest keeping
it simple and leave it at one list, otherwise it can be difficult to
keep track.

Just my $0.02 worth. ;-)

Alex

PS. Once you're happy with the CFP, post it to address@hidden,
where it will be "held" for moderation, and as moderator I can easily
approve it, which will broadcast it to all the other swarm lists.
