I agree with Steve that it would be better to shorten the meeting and extend
the deadline. If the registration fees do not cover the fixed costs of the
meeting SDG does have some available money that I would suggest be use to
cover the costs. Can we get an estimate of these costs?

Oh no!

Have more than 10 people registered?

Certainly postpone the deadline and try to send the announcement 
everywhere you can.

An alternative might be a shorter meeting?
