Sorry if already known, but the simplest place to get mdate-sh and
similar infrastructure files is from gnulib
(https://savannah.gnu.org/projects/gnulib). I try hard to keep the
copies there up to date.
It's also possible to semi-automatically detect new versions. I do that
in texinfo.
So I guess this will become moot when/if texi2html is incorporated into
texinfo ... never mind :).
