[Tlf-devel] tlf installation problem ?

Hi,
I am a newbie and have some problems with intallation of tlf-0.9.31
./configure gives me this error messages:
...
- checking for gcc... gcc
- checking for C compiler default output file name....
- configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

and in config.log:
.....
/usr/bin/ld: crtl.o: No such file: No such file or directory
.....
configure: failed program was:
/* confdefs.h */
.....

I use Ubuntu V7.10
Any ideas ?
