OK, doing that got rid of the above warning, so obviously my old
config is badly broken for xwem-ng.  That's cool and to be expected.

I even get the "xwem started successfully" message, but my initial
XEmacs frame is being destroyed (or hidden) which leaves me in a state
of "oh my god, what do I do now?"

Evgeny, *HELP!!*  I'm stuck in sawfish and I want my xwem back! :-(
