If you tested gradwellnet itself, the full error message is:

f> The IP address of the Mail eXchanger can't be resolved
 :   The MX mail-in-2.lb.gradwell.net. representing the host name doesn't
 : have an IP address.
 `..... .. .. . .  .
=> ns0.gradwell.com./193.111.200.7

Notice the last line! Zonecheck tested:

% dig @ns0.gradwell.com A mail-in-2.lb.gradwell.net.

; <<>> DiG 9.3.4 <<>> @ns0.gradwell.com A mail-in-2.lb.gradwell.net.

;; Got answer:

                           ^^^^^^^^^

Because lb.gradwell.net is itself delegated. If this is your test,
then, yes, it seems there is a bug (Zonecheck should follow the
referral)
