I'm forwarding this to fluid-dev, because it may be a better place to ask, instead of the tracker. Are there people interested on it that is not following the tickets?

BTW. Following a similar argument, most of the jack-midi backends are already supported in Fluidsynth.

I didn't know what jack-midi was exactly about, but I would put the same question there. Does it add something interesting that can't be done with the existing drivers?
