Tried a quick web search but couldn't find anything useful ... ... hopefully unrelated but still interesting: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gtkmm-list/2005-October/msg00052.html Funny, in the past there was a --debug=k option for key bindings, but today it's for 'directory pool' and debug output of key events does not seem to exist anymore (in the man page).
