Hi Steve,

 you shouldn't need to set anything.  I see that the latest Debian
package has:

$AUDIO_SUFFIXES{ "m4a" }  = 1;

 In /usr/share/perl5/gnump3d/files.pm which should be sufficient to
make the .m3a files be listed in the output pages.

hmm... these settings are correct. The files are also displayed in the same way as all the other audio files. I downloaded one file locally, and it played without any problem - it's only the streaming that doesn't work.

1. What do you see when you run it?

When I click on one individual mp3 file, it gets downloaded into a temporary folder & opened in Winamp. Clicking on an m4a file, the browser ticks out with 100% cpu usage, not downloading anything.

Yepp, nothing unusual here.

Nope, see above.

 What version of the server are you running?

2.8-5 (debian unstable)
