        Hurrah!!!  The right answer!  And as in the followup, it uses
the current default directory if neither SAVE_SPACE nor LYNX_SAVE_SPACE
were set.  Also, it uses the account's login directory if it can't open
a file in the current default.  Also, on both Unix and VMS, you can
use the line editor to put  ~/  in front of the filename offered, to
indicate the login directory (VMSers can use that platforms path logicals
as well, e.g., SYS$LOGIN:foo.suffix, but ~/foo.suffix is shorter 8-).

        I added SAVE_SPACE and LYNX_SAVE_SPACE in v2.5.  The v2.5 and
v2.6 lynx.cfg is the "self-documentation" for them. :) :)
