Yes, I noticed the extra line, [5], in the
set of print choices.
Thanks, Fote! (Or whoever did it)
Before 2.7 goes out, one idea, to eliminate that line (AND
the sub-process that seems to take place to accomplish
the append):
How about a "post->>" (or pre, either one, I guess) --
you simply add " >>" to the END of the filename.
Further, when you store the name in the circular buffer
for that input-slot, so you can arrow back to it and use
the same name again, KEEP the " >>" there -- if the
user doesn't want it, he can backspace over it.
RE the win95 and nt filenames allowing spaces in them,
well, anyone who ends a filename with " >>" deserves
what he gets...
Just an idea.
Thanks again for adding the [5] line. Really nice. (Maybe
this better, but then is more to memorize, unless one
adds "to append, add space and >>". But then "if it ain't
broke, don't fix it." (or, looking gift horse in mouth!)
If keep [5] line (the new append line), maybe MOVE it to [2],
and UPPERCASE "APPEND", so is more easily seen...
