no criticism of your (TD's) efforts intended,
but i hope you (as current centre of things) are keeping a note of items
which have met general approval for 2-9 (potentially).
this one has certainly been discussed in the past without being implemented:
Helen should remind lynx-dev in a few months if it gets forgotten.
