But for those of us using someone else's
version, that THEY compiled, we can't do that.

WE need to be able to keep it locally, in
eg the .cfg file.

Just how big a deal would it be to make the
">" actually WORK for that option the way it
does for the OTHER options.  Seems to me
doing that would SIMPLIFY the code...
