Here I am confirming that the problem described, to the letter, i.e.,
specific URL, page and links, did not appear.  [standard Slang1.4.0]

Not being c literate, I have no idea whether or not it is a "new problem."
Since in my second case NLS is involved, it may very well be.*  The first
seemed to be the string enclosed in the <a href></a> tags that was getting
corrupted, whereas the one I talked about above it is the Lynx-generated
"[" left-hand bracket for numbering of links that is corrupted.  The same
thing happens on the D)ownload page for example.  Takeshi did not seem to
be aware of this problem, nor those status line problems described by Mr.
Kohda.  He said he was building an NLS version, maybe this weekend.

* I don't have the time to experiment, but "isolating" the ":" with spaces,
  making it ": " or " : " _might_ prevent the appearance of the problem.
