FWIW I objected to syntax like this (another suggestion in the past has
been "TARGET + TARGET + TARGET : PREREQUISITES", which I think has some
precedent in an obscure variant of make) on these grounds: what does it
mean if you write:
[ TARGETS ] MORETARGETS : PREREQUISITES
??? Ditto for the "+" method: what if one is missing? Obviously there
are many options but I preferred the single separator token like "&:" to
avoid all those issues.
I'm going to be on vacation from tomorrow until Thur, 2 Jan, so I won't
be reading mail except every few days or so, and not doing much work.
