What version of GTK do you have?  Someone else has had this problem
running GTK 2.8, but I run GTK 2.6 (I suspect they broke something)

If you're eager to get a working Om, try 0.2.0.  It won't have this
problem, it's related to the new curved connection stuff in CVS.
