The regress part is supposed to make /mnt/syncback/data the way it was
before the failed session started. If the previous session didn't
contain /mnt/IBMPEERS/data/i_drive and /mnt/IBMPEERS/data/j_drive then
it is doing what it's supposed to do (although I can see how this
would be frustrating).
