   Thanks for the input, Chuck.

   If I ignore it, how do I get rdiff to continue the backup? Of course, 
that's probably covered in the (impressive---I've always liked the level of 
care obviously given to it) documentation.

   Debian, at least, doesn't have a 1.2.1 version yet, though I could probably 
dig into the source and make something *report* it's 1.2.1. 

              Cheers, and I'd just like to report that rdiff-backup has saved 
my ass several times, and I very much appreciate it!
