Hello there,
I desperately want backup my Linux computer. And I want to do it safely.
Therefore I created a reverse EncFS mirror of my root directory. I
mention this, because this causes directory/files to backup containing -
and , in their names.
Now, if I try to run:
rdiff-backup --include '0l5Nvypf79eTb,' --exclude '**' \
/mnt/encfs address@hidden::/home/backup
rdiff-backup fails with:
OSError: [Errno 5] Input/output error: '/mnt/encfs/0L5nVYPF79EtB,'
Now look closely:
--include '0l5Nvypf79eTb,'
vs. '/mnt/encfs/0L5nVYPF79EtB,'
"Sure you won't find that file! You inverted the letter casing?!"
Anybody a hint where this happens inside the code? And why?
Thanks
- Ben
P.S.: Anybody still maintaining the code at all?
