New font searching for 0.7

And so I tried the CVS version of 0.7 and it could not find font info.  :-)

Apparently, the fonts are being stored in directories and should be
searched recursively.  In lieu of parsing the file fonts.cache-1, I
changed find_files_in_path to just do a recursive search from the given
directory (see the attached patch).

I'm not sure who uses this routine, but if it's a problem, the old routine
can be kept and find_fonts can call this version instead.
