This is a nice mode. I heard about it some years ago but then completely
forgot about it. Thanks for the hint.
Just a quick feedback:
My main attention was on input method and display of certain math symbols.
Regarding these aspects both methods (prettify-symbols-mode and
Fred's extensions to LaTeX-math-mode) are fairly equivalent.
I guess it's more a matter of taste whether one prefers unicode characters
or LaTeX command names. So far I'm very happy with prettify-symbols-mode.
