I've tried to install it.  ``make check'' reported a problem with
reqd2.test

A tarball of testSubDir and the autput of make check is available from
http://www.math.cas.cz/~kasal/sw/gnu/automake/

I have installed: autoconf 2.57, libtool 1.4e.
