PSPP-BUG: make check failed on AMD 64 running FC5

From: Glenn Lawyer
Subject: PSPP-BUG: make check failed on AMD 64 running FC5
Date: Mon, 18 Sep 2006 11:13:58 +0200
User-agent: Thunderbird 1.5.0.5 (X11/20060808)

Hi,

Trying to install PSPP-0.4.0. Configure failed ("unable to determine size of short") until I did the following:
  LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
  export LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Configure then runs sucessfully (using the --without-libplot option). Make also completes with no reported errors.

make check produces several errors, asking me to report bugs to the list. Attached is the log file from
  make check > test.log 2>&1

My system is (uname -a):
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.17-1.2174_FC5 #1 SMP Tue Aug 8 15:30:44 EDT 2006 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Cheers!

+glenn
