I don't have any problem with that.  All I need is to know what each
command does.

Predicting where Gawk puts its data files is important, but what is
IMHO more important is being able to know that all versions of Gawk,
including past ones, will install the files in the same place, so that
they could be uninstalled when I install a new version.  It is also
important to know that I can move a certain /usr/local tree in one
piece to another place, and still have a working system.
