It just happens that bug-gawk right now funnels into bug-gnu-utils.
There is no separate archive.  For example your message to bug-gawk
was archived to the bug-gnu-utils archive.  The bug-gnu-utils archive
serves for both.

It is not expected for people not using the lists regularly to know
these things.  Just read the bug posting guidelines in the gawk man
page and follow the directions there.  Sending bug reports to bug-gawk
is the right thing to do.
