I have to try this out myself and see what the problem is. I think the fixes
posted earlier (if this is the same bug) are band-aids, and are not the
right solution, but haven't had time to do dedicated gawk work for a while.

When it's done it's done.
In other words, no time frame. I'd like to get a patch release out sooner
rather than later, but I may as well let the dust from 3.1.5 settle a little
bit more. I still have several things to look at.
