Hi Jon,
I'm not too happy about having the load commands file moved to general
open file dialog. It is difficult to find and it does something
fundamentally different from loading a game. The file menu isn't
exactly overcrowded.
You've definitely got a valid point.
It strikes me that loading a command file is very similar to loading a settings
file, maybe a "load settings file" or similar option on the settings menu might
work?
I think loading a command file is a low priority action, from a new user point
of view they would have to:
1. start using gnubg
2. think of something they want to automate
3. create a command file that does some action (or possibly learn about some
pre-written file)
4. load this command file
I think by the time a user gets to 4 they know their way around gnubg. Having
it on the file menu means one of the first things a user might think is "what is
a command file?". And of course the answer is a little used (but admittedly
handy) feature.
