Yes, this is the basic problem. Still, I should have dropped a link to: http://lilypond.org/web/devel/participating/bugsI try to do that whenever I don't recognize an email address, but evidently I forgot to do that the first few times I saw bug reports from Hans, so by the time I asked him for a minimal example, I forgot that I'd never sent him the link.
