On Mac OS X, the same command produces this error:
$ bin/guile -s bin/lilypond-invoke-editor
ERROR: In procedure dynamic-link:
ERROR: file: "libguile-srfi-srfi-1-v-3", message: "file not found"
The GNU/Linux installers are okay. Here is the correct output:
$ bin/guile -s bin/lilypond-invoke-editor
lilypond-invoke-editor (GNU LilyPond) 2.13.7
Usage: lilypond-invoke-editor [textedit://]FILE:LINE:CHAR:COLUMN
Visit a file and position the cursor.
Options:
-h, --help show this help
-v, --version show version
