Well, it seems that there are plenty of packages out there which
are both Autotools-based and support the W32 build environments.
Though I'd rather not to say much on this topic, since I don't
use these environments at all.
It seems to me that it's the uncomfortability of the developers
with Autotools that matters more there. And I hardly would be
able to change it, even would I desire so. Besides, GNU Make
isn't as dumb as it's frequently depicted.
