A terminal when you are in a typical desktop environment is a window
into which you can type commands - usually to be found in some "system
tools" menu or some such, you must surely have been typing into one if
you built denemo using the commands ./autogen.sh etc?
If you run denemo from the terminal (if you are still in the directory
where you built it then ./src/denemo would launch it, if you installed
it then just typing
denemo
will launch it) then you will see a heap of messages and finally
Denemo will start. Then when you click on a note head in the Print View
with version 2.5.4 you will see a message saying what the URI that has
been signalled was. It would seem however that the signal is not being
sent, so nothing will be written to the terminal.
