[Auth]AOL to get into the OS game?

Wired is running this article saying that AOL might get into
the OS game by aquiring a Linux company.  I don't care for
the the service myself but it would be great to see some
competition to wake Microsoft from it's sleep. :)
Or, does Microsoft own Wired magazine, and they are
spreading rumors to lighten the antitrust remedies? hmmmmm a
conspiracy around every corner.
