Could people please write their ideas down on a "paper", if they do this we 
will post them on the web
so everybody can read them. Not just on the mailing list.

So write them down on a Web page, pass it to CVS, or mail it to somebody who 
can put it for you on CVS.

This is partly because  I have seen idea floating around which seem good, so 
put them on a
web page.
