[DotGNU]URIs

Hello,

People seem to want to use URIs for everything. Even some things
that it was not really meant to be used for.

On the Nautilus mailing list, and in the document:

     http://primates.ximian.com/~miguel/monikers.html

I see URIs being used, in what seems to me, inappropriate
ways. (Note, I have not read the RFCs or specs on URIs,
so if anyone wants to point them out to me, please do.)

For example, the URI:

     file:/tmp/a.gz#gunzip

This URI, is suppose to take the source "file:/tmp/a.gz", and
run it through the function "gunzip".

Using the '#' operator to do this do NOT seem correct.
(But note, like I said before, I am not an expert on URIs,
so this may be correct... but I don't think it is.)
