Sounds interesting.
THe JAM Jabber as middleware seems to be more an idea than anything
else, when i looked into it a couple of months ago. 
Almost of all my queries about this on the jabber lists did not get too
much response.
How many people are working on the phpgroupware webservices?

I would be interested in hearing about this webservices in general,
maybe what is being done and what is avaiable...
