Yes, when I echo my variables, they look good. But they seem to be something else internally than what their string representation shows. I guess it's got to do with argv[] or something.
How about running this with 'duplicity ... &> duplicity.log' and attaching duplicity.log to the reply. That would help a lot.
What do you mean? What I posted is everything duplicity says. There's nothing more I've left out.
