Most of these facilities of GitHub are SaaSS; we urge users to
reject them and release free programs to do these jobs.

Slack is not SaaSS -- it is a service that requires running a nonfree
client program.  Therefore we condemn it.  See stallman.org/slack.html.

If I understand right, the software they use to implement this is
_private_.  We do not know anything about it.  It might include some
free software and some nonfree.
