I would go for this as well. I don't think that EMMS should aim to be 
"the" tagging facility that most people would use for tagging stuff. 
There are better solutions for that (fairly complex) problem.

But we could provide a generic interface for modifying some (e.g. the 
most common) tags.  I can implement the taglib version against that 
interface, if needed.
