I'm sorry for the dis-improvement. In fact, that's what made me add the
patch that truncates the modeline once it gets too long. The composer
field also doesn't always make a lot of sense for contemporary
music. Most people want to know the name of the band and the name of the
song. The fact that, say, the drummer wrote the song is not critical to
them.

Yes, that is exactly my thinking. The basis for the change is that any
experienced Emms user would have either long-since customized their
track description, or would find doing so easy. New users, on the other
hand, need to be given good default.

Whether what I did is a good default is up do debate; and that debate is
valuable.
