I think that for both GNU and non-GNU packages, we should think about
generating http://www.gnu.org/software/software.html directly from the Free
Software Directory.

To know when we can start doing this, someone needs to go through the Free
Software Directory and http://www.gnu.org/software/software.html, and make
sure the Free Software Directory has an entry for each item on
http://www.gnu.org/software/software.html.  Once that is done, we could
simply generate http://www.gnu.org/software/software.html from the Free
Software Directory with a simple program.

Is anyone willing to do this?
