Ok, maybe better skip this test. I'm sure there are other games where
similar problems can be found, which may be more clear-cut.

No, it doesn't. White answers with the B6 atari and black doesn't have
liberties enough to connect at A5. The only option is to start a ko
with A6 but even if white doesn't want to play the ko he can just play
A1 to capture three stones and make a second eye, living in sente.
